Sprawl 2 (Mountains Beyond Mountains) - The Arcade Fire

My mom made me go to Home Depot with her once my senior year of high school. It was on a particularly large strip of gigantic stores over by the airport. I remember this one moment standing in the parking lot, squinting into the glare of sun on all these windshields and all this concrete. I’d just been doing some reading and I think it crossed my mind that everyone good in this world would be very displeased by a shopping center like that. Thoreau, for instance. Thoreau and my hippie uncle at the very least. 
So yeah, a song like this came as a relief. Thank you Arcade Fire.

This is one of my favorite Arcade Fire songs, possibly one of my favorite songs. Always makes me happy when I see someone else appreciating it. :D
